SHSP Program Overview: SHSP supports the implementation of the State Homeland Security Strategy (SHSS) to address the identified planning, equipment, training and exercise needs for acts of terrorism. In addition, SHSPsupports the implementation of the National Preparedness Goal, NIMS and the NRP. The SHSP should provide a strategic and management framework to integrate and ensure consistency among the full range of program-related activities and operational plans and procedures.
