  1. White Oak Pond, Holderness - Pursuant to RSA 270:1, 270:12 (with special emphasis on RSA 270:12,II) and Administrative Rule 409; a petition was received on October 3, 2002 from at least twenty-five (25) petitioners requesting a "Prohibition on aircraft landing" in White Oak Pond, Holderness, New Hampshire. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on June 6, 2003 at the Holderness Town Hall. RSA 270:13-a specifically allows seaplanes to land and takeoff. The further use of a plane once landed is prohibited by this order. Commissioner Richard M. Flynn granted (in part) the petition on June 27, 2003.
  2. Canobie Lake, Salem and Windham - Pursuant to 270:74-a and Administrative Rule 411; a petition was received dated November 25, 2002 requesting the prohibition of ski craft be established on Canobie Lake. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on June 13, 2003 at the Windham Town Hall. Commissioner Flynn granted the petition on June 25, 2003.

Pickerel Pond, Laconia - Pursuant to RSA 270:1, 270:12 (with special emphasis on RSA 270:12,II) and Administrative Rule 409; a petition was received on February 22, 2003 from at least twenty-five (25) petitioners requesting a "Prohibition on aircraft landing" on Pickerel Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee, Laconia, New Hampshire. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on June 20, 2003 at the Laconia Public Library. Commissioner Richard M. Flynn denied the petition on June 30, 2003.
  4. Paugus Bay in Lake Winnipesaukee, Laconia - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received dated March 3, 2003 requesting that a "No Wake Zone" be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on June 20, 2003 at the Laconia Public Library. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on July 8, 2003.
  5. Squaw Cove in Squam Lake, Sandwich - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received dated April 1, 2003 requesting that a "No Wake Zone" be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 1, 2003 at the Sandwich Town Hall. Commissioner Flynn granted the petition on August 12, 2003.

Wild Goose Pond, Pittsfield and Strafford - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received dated May 31, 2003 requesting that a limit of not more than fifty (50 hp) horsepower and also a thirty-five (35 mph) mile per hour speed limit be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 15, 2003 at the Pittsfield Town Hall. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on August 29, 2003.
  7. Center Harbor Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee, Center Harbor - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received dated May 24, 2003 requesting that a "No Wake Zone" be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 15, 2003 at the Center Harbor Town Hall. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on August 29, 2003.
  8. Brickyard Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee, Alton - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, 270:43; and, Administrative Rule Saf-C 407, 409; a petition was received dated February 25, 2000 seeking a ban or prohibition restriction of "rafting" in Brickyard Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee, Alton, New Hampshire. A public hearing was conducted on August 22, 2003. Commissioner Flynn granted the petition, the order restricted "rafting" within the cove on September 11, 2003.
  9. Long Pond, Lempster - Pursuant to 270:74-a and Administrative Rule 411; a petition was received dated October 14, 2002 requesting the prohibition of ski craft be established on Long Pond. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 25, 2003 at the Lempster Town Offices. Commissioner Flynn granted the petition on September 11, 2003, to become effective on October 1, 2003.
  10. Goose Pond, Canaan - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received dated July 7, 2003 requesting that a "No Wake Zone" be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 25, 2003 at the Mascoma Senior Center, Canaan, NH. Commissioner Flynn granted the petition on September 12, 2003.
  11. Spindle Point in Lake Ossipee, Freedom - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received on July 29, 2003 dated May 13, 2003 requesting that a "No Wake Zone" be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 29, 2003 at the Freedom Town Hall. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on September 16, 2003.
  12. Silver Lake, Hollis - Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409, a petition was received dated July 04, 2003 discussing a petition dated September 7, 2002 requesting that a ban on any boat equipped with a motor with the exception of electric powered be established. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr., Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on September 12, 2003 at the Hollis Town Hall Community Center. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on September 24, 2003.
