Winter Harbor in Lake Winnipesaukee – Pursuant to RSA 270:12; and Administrative Rule 409; a petition was received on February 27, 2002 from at least twenty-five (25) petitioners requesting a "No Wake Zone" in Winter Harbor, Tuftonboro, New Hampshire. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr. Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on June 7, 2002 in Tuftonboro. Commissioner Richard M. Flynn denied the petition on June 21, 2002.

Pickerel Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee - Pursuant to RSA 270:74,VII 270:74-a and Administrative Rule 411; a petition was received dated May 26, 2002 from ten (10) petitioners requesting a "No Wake Zone" for ski craft be implemented in Pickerel Cove, Laconia, New Hampshire. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr. Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on July 12, 2002 at the City Hall in Laconia. Commissioner Richard M. Flynn granted the petition on July 18, 2002 to become effective on October 1, 2002.

Buzzell Cove in Lake Winnipesaukee - Pursuant to RSA 270:12; RSA 270:43 and Administrative Rule Saf-C 407 and 409; a petition was received by the Bureau of Hearings on July 5, 2002 from at least twenty-five (25) petitioners requesting to prohibit or restrict the rafting of boats be implemented in Buzzell Cove, Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Curtis N. Duclos, Jr. Chief Hearings Examiner, conducted a public hearing on August 9, 2002 at the Town Office Meeting Room in Moultonborough. Commissioner Richard M. Flynn granted the petition on August 23, 2002.

The North End of Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee, Meredith – Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409; a petition was received dated July 17, 2002, requesting that the present "No Wake Zone" established within Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Meredith after a public hearing in July-2000 should be reversed. A public hearing was conducted on August 9, 2002. Thirty-two (32) people signed the petition. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on August 23, 2002.

The North End of Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee, Meredith – Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409; a petition was received dated June 6, 2002, requesting that the present "No Wake Zone" established within Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Meredith should be modified to relocate the position of the four (4) markers (buoys) so [they] designate the area one hundred and fifty (150) yards "out from the town docks". A public hearing was conducted on August 9, 2002. Twenty-six (26) people signed the petition. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on August 23, 2002.

Marker # 52 in Lake Winnipesaukee, Moultonborough – Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409; a petition was received dated June 24, 2002, requesting that the present "No Wake Zone" established within Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Moultonborough near Marker #52 be extended approximately 200 feet West of [its] present location. A public hearing was conducted on September 9, 2002. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on September 30, 2002.

Gilmore Pond in Jaffrey – Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409; a petition was received dated August 6, 2002, 2002 requesting that a "No Wake Zone" be established on Gilmore Pond. A public hearing was conducted on September 13, 2002. Commissioner Flynn granted the petition on September 30, 2002.

Highland Lake in Stoddard and Washington – Pursuant to RSA 270:12, and Administrative Rule Saf-C 409 a petition was received dated August 30, 2002, requesting that a "Speed Restriction" be established Highland Lake seeking not more than forty (40) miles per hour during day time hours and twenty (20) miles per hour during the nighttime hours. A public hearing was conducted on September 13, 2002. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on October 1, 2002.

Highland Lake in Stoddard and Washington – Pursuant to 270:74-a and Administrative Rule 411; a petition was received dated August 30, 2002 requesting the prohibition of ski craft be established on Highland Lake. A public hearing was conducted on September 13, 2002. Commissioner Flynn denied the petition on October 1, 2002.
