Course Name: (ARFF) Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting NFPA 1003
Career Track: All Firefighters that work or may work at aircraft fires or at classified airfields
Hours: 48
Description: Student will learn basic safety requirements, aircraft and airport familiarization, extinguishing agent selection and application, rescue and mass causality operations, ICS, strategy and tactics all related to airfield or aircraft operations.
Prerequisites: Firefighter I, Firefighter II

Course Name: Aircraft Firefighting for Structural Firefighters
Career Track: Firefighters
Hours: 24
Description: Student will learn basic safety requirements, aircraft and airport familiarization, extinguishing agent selection and application, rescue and mass causality operations, ICS, strategy and tactics all related to airfield or aircraft operations. This course is designed for structural firefighters not assigned to ARFF duties.
Prerequisites: Firefighter I

Course Name: Aircraft Firefighting Recertification Practical
Career Track: Aircraft Firefighters
Hours: 8
Description: Student will reinforce basic safety requirements and engage in interior, engine, wheel & brake, and spill fires as need to complete FAA requirements or other departmental needs. All classes are configured to the requested difficulty and needs of requesting agency.
Prerequisites: ARFF Firefighter
