Fire Officer Programs

The New Hampshire Fire Standards & Training Commission in session on January 7, 1998 has approved the formation of a Visiting Committee to determine whether there is a need or merit in offering an abbreviated course of instruction for those Fire Officers - volunteer, call or career - who for whatever reason, or by virtue of the size of their department, have neither the time nor the financial wherewithal to attend the current Fire Officer program offered by the New Hampshire Fire Academy.

Whether such a program of studies is necessary or valid will be determined by the response. Therefore, the Commission seeks interested individuals to serve on the Committee. If you are interested, please send a short resume to:
