It is with great pleasure that the Division of Fire Standards and Training & Emergency Medical Services, in conjunction with Homeland Security and Emergency Management, announce the anticipated release of the EMS in the Warm Zone Operations program in April of 2017.
This program will build upon the knowledge developed in the EMS in the Warm Zone Awareness program It will enhance the learner's knowledge of proper medicine at the proper time, movements with law enforcement, and standardized language. The program will encompass a 3-4 hour online program and 8 hours of in-classroom scenario based learning. For further information about this exciting opportunity, please contact Jon Bouffard at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Currently, the Division offers an online EMS in the Warm Zone Awareness program that can be taken at any time. Please visit our NHoodle site at
Additionally, the Department of Safety has funds available, through the Homeland Security Grants program, to help agencies procure equipment for Warm Zone incidents. The application can be found at https://apps.nh.gov/blogs/hsem/?page_id=2701
