NHFIRS is an integral part of the larger National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) operated by the US Fire Administration (USFA), part of the US Department of Homeland Security. Data submitted by local fire departments is captured by the NHFMO and sent up to the National Fire Data Center (NFDC) operated by the USFA.

NFIRS is a critical component in the USFA goal to "Fight Fires with Facts." This Web page is dedicated to providing you with the latest information and support on incident reporting. The NHFMO has a full-time person dedicated to the success of this program. Should you have any questions regarding the program please feel free to contact us.
