Proclamation Signing
Fire Prevention Week October 7-13, 2012
and November as Carbon Monoxide Awareness Month
Date: Wednesday October 3, 2012
Time: 4:30 PM
Location: Governors Office, State House, Concord
Please join Governor John Lynch and State Fire Marshal J. William for the ceremonial signing of the official Proclamation declaring October 7 through October 13th Fire Prevention Week. This year's theme is, "Have Two Ways Out". The emphasis this year is on fire escape planning and practice.
Governor Lynch will also be signing a proclamation declaring November as Carbon Monoxide Awareness Month. This is to draw attention to preventing the silent killer of carbon monoxide exposure.
Representatives of New Hampshire's fire service leaders and health care professionals will be present and available for comments.
Friday's event will involve an opportunity to film, photograph and speak with all involved. Please come and help us kick of this year's program and send a strong message to our state's residents that they can prevent fires and injuries.
