3 Charged in Connection with Danville Molotov Cocktail Fire

New Hampshire State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan, Danville Police Chief Wade Parsons, and Danville Fire Chief Steven Woitkun, announced that the fire reported at 34 Beach Plain Road in Danville on February 23, 2011 has been under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office. As a result of this ongoing joint investigation, three individuals have been arrested and charged with various criminal offenses. The investigation is active and remains ongoing. This evening, Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office arrested the following individuals:

19 year old Jonathan Balamotis of Plaistow has been charged with Arson, Use of Molotov Cocktail, Reckless Conduct, and (3) counts of Conspiracy. All six charges are felonies. Balamotis is being held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections on $100,000 cash bail.

20 year old Ryan Sawyer of Kingston has been charged with Arson, Use of Molotov Cocktail, Reckless Conduct, and (3) counts of Conspiracy. All six charges are felonies. Sawyer is being held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections on $25,000 cash bail.

19 year old Ryan Reed of Sandown has been charged with Accomplice to Arson, Accomplice to Use of Molotov Cocktail, Accomplice to Reckless Conduct, and (3) counts of Conspiracy. All six charges are felonies. Reed is being held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections on $25,000 cash bail.

Arraignments for Balamotis, Sawyer, and Reed are scheduled for tomorrow morning in a District Court yet to be determined.
