To all New Hampshire Fire Departments:
The National Association of State Fire Marshals Fire Research & Education Foundation is conducting a survey of the nation’s fire departments to seek a better understanding of the reasons behind undetermined or blank/missing origin and cause entries in fire incident data reports. The goal of the research is to make recommendations for how more complete and accurate fire incident reporting can be achieved.
I support this effort and ask for your cooperation in promptly completing the survey to ensure that your department’s perspective is represented.
Please forward this email to an individual who participates in the fire incident data and reporting process for your department and ask him or her to complete the survey at earliest convenience but no later than September 20, 2013. The survey should take 15-30 minutes to complete. Only one response per department is requested.
