Exams

All Master and Journeyman exams will be given through the INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL (ICC) CONTRACTOR EXAMINATION SERVICES. Once you complete our application to take the exam and it has been approved, you will be sent the necessary information to register for the exam. ICC will notify this office if you have passed or failed. If you passed, a letter will be sent with the license fee that is due.

FROM: STATE BOARD FOR THE LICENSING AND REGULATION OF PLUMBERS
RE: 2010 RENEWAL FEES

The Plumbers' Licensing Board has recently been the subject of a Legislative Budget Assistant Performance Audit. As a result of this Performance Audit, it was brought to our attention that the incorrect fee has been assessed for the renewal of your business license.

The Administrative Rule, Plu 308.06, Fees for the renewal of Licensure of Plumbing Businesses and the Annual Renewal of Certification of Water Treatment Businesses, states:

"The annual renewal fees for business licenses and business certifications shall be the same as the fees for initial licensure and for the initial certification set forth in Plu 308.03 and Plu 308.04, respectively."

According to Plu 308.03 and Plu 308.4, the fee for the initial business entity license is $190.00. At this point you have forwarded a check in the amount of $165.00.  Therefore, it is required that you forward to this office prior to January 31, 2010, an additional check made payable to the Treasurer, State of New Hampshire in the amount of $25.00.

If you have not sent in your renewal yet, please make sure your check is made out for the full $190.00 for renewal in accordance with the Administrative Rules. We apologize for any inconvenience and we thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
