**************Journeyman Exam Changes*************
The following information is being provided to explain the changes that will be in place for the April, 2010 journeyman exam. These changes will remain in place until the test is out sourced at which time the format will change again.
The new journeyman exam will be in three parts. Part one remains the same, Part Two has been revised to include only the practical (Code) questions and the RSA 319-C and Administrative Rule questions are now in a new Part Three. Part Three has the same basic number of questions as were in Part Two previously. There were nine law and rule questions in Part Two previously and there are ten questions in the new Part Three.
The examinees will be using the new rules, Saf-C 9200 & 9300. Saf-C 9200 are the Electrician’s Licensing Board Practice and Procedural Rules and Saf-C 9300 are the Bureau of Electrical Safety and Licensing Rules. All exam questions have been revised in accordance with Saf-C 9200 & 9300.
The examinees will have 30 minutes to complete Part Three of the journeyman exam. Each question will be worth 10 points and the examinee must have at least a 70% to pass.
Voluntary Certification of Fire Protection Equipment Technicians
