Prospective candidates must submit a state application for employment, have his or her application certified by the NH Division of Personnel, and pass a written exam administered by the Division of Personnel before the application is forwarded to the BEC. Applicants must pass a written exam and oral interview administered by the BEC. A pre-employment substance and hearing test are required of all candidates selected from the interviews.
