CONCORD, NH - The Dover Point Division of Motor Vehicles substation at 50 Boston Harbor Road is being temporary relocated to the Pease International Tradeport in October as renovation work on the Dover facility is carried out.
The temporary office will be located at 30 International Drive, Portsmouth. It will open Monday, Oct. 10 and operate Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
"This temporary DMV office is in a convenient location for Seacoast residents," said DMV Director Richard C. Bailey, Jr. "When the renovation work is done at the Dover Point office our customers and staff will see some significant improvements there."
The renovations will unify the previously separate areas for Driver Licensing and Registration to improve customer support. The new building will also be able to host Motorcycle Rider Training classes next year.
Salvage inspections will not be completed at the temporary Dover DMV office location. The last day of salvage inspections at 50 Boston Harbor Road will be October 3, 2010.
