To process your driver license renewal, the following is necessary:
- You must be the person named on the Driver License Renewal Notice.
- Have the Driver License Renewal Notice with the Renewal Identification Number (RIN) printed on it.
- Have your current driver license.
- Have a printer.
- Have one of the following valid credit cards for payment:
- MasterCard or Visa.
Steps involved in renewing your driver license online:
- Enter your name as it appears on your current license, enter your Driver License Number, and enter the issue date of your current license.
- Enter your RIN (Renewal Identification Number).
- Read and acknowledge the statements.
- Please consider giving the "Gift of Life".
- Select the payment option and enter the payment information.
- PRINT your temporary license.
NOTE: The printed confirmation of your driver license renewal is your Temporary Proof of License. Do not discard the license you have in hand. This license, along with the printed confirmation, known as the Temporary Proof of License, may be needed for identification purposes or it may be needed if stopped by law enforcement. Your new license will be mailed to you within 30 days.
