POTASSIUM IODIDE DISTRIBUTION
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has enabled each individual who lives or works in an Emergency Planning Zone surrounding either Seabrook Station or Vermont Yankee nuclear power plants to receive one 130-mg tablet of potassium iodide (KI) from the State of New Hampshire to use in the event of a radiological emergency.
Individuals who are interested in receiving KI must submit a completed Application Form. There are three ways in which to receive an application kit:
- Visit your Town Selectman’s Office
- Visit one of the following two NH Department of Health and Human Services’ District Offices:
