In general, disaster behavioral health services are provided to meet the emotional/behavioral health needs of all individuals and families who become victims of a major disaster, emergency, or terrorist attack without regard for any other criteria. This may include community education, support groups, screening and assessment, crisis counseling, and information dissemination.
In the event of a Federally declared disaster, New Hampshire can apply for Crisis Counseling grants which may provide longer term services to victims and their families.
