D.A.R.E. Officers

Officer George Durham - Milford Police Department

Officer George Durham, of the Milford Police Department, holds the School Resource Officer position. He is a nineteen-year veteran of the Milford Police Department and the Department's D.A.R.E. Instructor.

Officer Durham has been a D.A.R.E. Instructor since 1999 and is a graduate of the DOT Class #12. In addition, Officer Durham has been certified to instruct at the Junior High and High School levels. The Milford Police Department currently supports D.A.R.E. programs in the 1st, 3rd, 6th and 8th grades. Officer Durham obviously enjoys working with the community’s younger people to encourage their success and positive choices in life.

The Milford Police Department was also home to the New Hampshire D.A.R.E. Youth Advisory Board member Brittany Doyle. Ms. Doyle graduated in June 2006 from the Milford High School and has spoken at the New Hampshire State Police D.A.R.E. Coordinators Conference about the D.A.R.E. Peer Plus Program.
