NH D.A.R.E. Seeks a Youth Advisory Board Representative
The New Hampshire D.A.R.E. Coordinator's office is looking for a driven and energetic D.A.R.E. graduate to represent the state at the national level. The student must be at least a freshman and no more than a sophomore as of May 1, 2008 to be the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) representative for NH. The requirements and duties are attached. This is a great chance to have a chance at a $20,000.00 scholarship for college. If you have a student who is interested, direct him/her to send a biography, contact information, recommending officer's name, letters of recommendation and a photograph to the Coordinator's office.

Nominations for the 2008 D.A.R.E. Lifetime Achievement, Officer, and Educator of the Year Awards
D.A.R.E. America is accepting nominations for the 2008 D.A.R.E. Lifetime Achievement, Officer, and Educator of the Year Awards. Recipients of these prestigious awards will be honored during the 21st Annual D.A.R.E. International Training Conference.
Nominees for the awards shall have distinguished themselves in their dedication to D.A.R.E. Their efforts and contributions should demonstrate a commitment to D.A.R.E. beyond the high standard evidenced by others involved in the program. Nominations must be received by a D.A.R.E. America Regional Director on or before June 16, 2008. |
