Welcome!

The D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program is a kindergarten though high school program which deals not only with drug issues but life skills as well. It does this by providing students with factual information on drugs, gangs and violence and the consequences of becoming involved in high-risk behavior. D.A.R.E. teaches coping skills to resist the pressure to use drugs or to become involved in dangerous activities. It offers this in a school environment which fosters a positive relationship with a community-based police officer.

The New Hampshire D.A.R.E. Coordinator’s office at State Police Headquarters serves as the general administrator for the state program. The state coordinator is responsible for providing technical assistance, coordinating program evaluations, facilitating training and processing D.A.R.E. financial matters.

If you know of an exceptional teacher who would be interested in becoming a D.A.R.E. Educator, please contact us. We are interested in training a second Educator for this State. We have doubled our training, and it would be great to have a second Educator. Also, if you are a D.A.R.E. Officer whom has taught two semesters of either the HS or Parent Program, please e-mail TFC Maureen Steer.

D.A.R.E. Workbooks - Class Schedules must accompany workbook orders. No schedule, no workbook!
