Linda McNair-Perry, P.E., SECB, is a licensed professional engineer in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and Rhode Island along with a handful of southern states. She is certified in the practice of structural engineering through the Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB). Currently Linda is the Senior Structural Engineer at SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc., located in Auburn, NH.
Since graduating from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1980 with a B.S. of Civil Engineering, her career has been focused on the practice of structural engineering. She has over 30 years of experience in the design and construction administration of projects utilizing structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood and cold-formed steel framing. In addition to new construction, Ms. McNair-Perry has also been involved in existing conditions assessments, provided forensic engineering and offered expert opinions.
Linda has been a member of the Structural Engineers of New Hampshire (SENH) since 1994 and served on their Board of Directors from 2004 to 2008, with the last two years as President. She also served on SENH's Special Inspections Committee and is currently serving as the SENH Board's Liaison to UNH.
In 2009, Ms. McNair-Perry received an Outstanding Service Award by the Board of Directors of SENH for her long-term dedication to the organization and for the advancement of the Structural Engineering profession in New Hampshire. As the 2012 recipient of the NH Joint Engineering Societies Engineer of the Year Award, she was recognized for her professional achievements, volunteerism in the engineering community, mentoring of structural engineering students and community involvement.
Ms. McNair-Perry's appointment in 2010 to the State Building Code Review Board by the NH Board of Professional Engineers enables her to represent the structural engineering community and to promote safety in the State of New Hampshire. Linda was elected as the Vice-Chair of the State Building Code Review Board in 2012.
