Michael Santa, CBO, is the Building Official for the City of Nashua, NH. He has worked in this capacity since 2002. Prior to being promoted to Building Official, he was the Plans Examiner for the City of Nashua for over twelve years.

Mr. Santa received a BA from St. Anselm College and is pursuing a Master degree in architecture from Boston Architectural Center. Mr. Santa is the President of the New Hampshire Building Officials Association and was named inspector of the year by that organization in 2004. He has also been appointed to the International Code Council’s Existing Building Code Development Committee and has served on this committee since 2002.

Mr. Santa holds numerous certifications from ICC including that of Certified Building Official. He has been a member of the New Hampshire Architectural Barrier-Free Committee since 1999 and a member of the New Hampshire State Building Code Review Board since its inception in 2002.
