Wayne Richardson, CBO, is the Code Official and Health Officer for the Town of Bedford receiving this appointment in 1999. Wayne had been the Code Inspector and Deputy Health Officer for Bedford since the fall of 1996.

Waynereceived his BS from the University of Vermont in 1974 and his CBO certification in 1997. He has been a member of the New Hampshire Building Officials Association since 1996 and is currently a member of the education and training committee for the association. He has been accepted as a special instructor for the New Hampshire Fire Academy program for building code section of the level 1 Fire Inspector program.

Wayne continues to participate in continuing education programs such as environmental health, Code Official Certification Program, National Fire Protection Association and other opportunities made available through the Building Officials Association. Wayne has been a member of the New Hampshire State Building Code Review Board since the spring of 2005.
