The NH Department of Employment Security monitors and enforces all aspects concerning the security of the New Hampshire workforce. All New Hampshire businesses with employees must contact the NH Dept. of Employment Security.
Filing Requirements
All businesses with employees in the State of New Hampshire must file an Employer Status Report with the NH Department of Employment Security. The Employer Status Report can be obtained at your local Employment Security office or download it from www.nh.gov/nhes/locations/
New Hire Report
All new hires must also be reported to the NH Department of Employment Security. Send completed New Hire Reports to: NHES-New Hire Program, PO Box 2092, Concord, NH 03302-2092, (603) 229-4341 or 1 (800) 803-4485 or fax the report to: (603) 229-4323.
Wage and Tax Report
The Wage and Tax Report must be filed with the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security quarterly regardless of tax liability. Contact the NH Department of Employment Security directly for more information about the Wage and Tax Report.
