Financial Aid
Beginning this fall there will be two new federal grant programs awarded to Pell eligible students: the Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) and the National Science & Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National SMART Grant).

The US Department of Education will be notifying all potentially eligible students this summer. If a student indicates that they are eligible for an award, the financial aid office at the student’s institution will verify the eligibility. In addition, the financial aid offices will screen for students that they feel are eligible even if not self-identified.
