DECISION NO. 2009-036

MODIFICATION OF CERTIFIED BARGAINING UNIT

A representation proceeding having been previously conducted by the Public Employee Labor Relations Board in accordance with RSA 273-A, and the Rules and Regulations of the Board, which resulted in the selection of an exclusive representative, and where on February 19, 2009 the parties filed a stipulated petition to modify the certified bargaining unit’s composition, said stipulation being in conformity with the provisions of RSA 273-A; then,

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Board by the Public Employee Labor Relations Act, the stipulated petition to modify is granted and IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that RUMNEY TEACHERS ASSOCIATION, Affiliated with NHEA/NEA is the exclusive representative of the employees of the above named public employer, in the unit as described below, for purposes of collective negotiations and settlement of grievances.

UNIT: All full-time and part-time certified teachers, including guidance counselors. Excluded: superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal, nurse, special education coordinator, and speech therapist.

Further, IT IS ORDERED that the above named public employer shall henceforth recognize the RUMNEY TEACHERS ASSOCIATION, Affiliated with NHEA/NH as the exclusive representative for negotiating wages, terms and conditions of employment for the members of the bargaining unit, as herein described, and shall recognize the right of such exclusive representative to represent employees in the settlement of grievances.
