ORDER

The Town's Written Majority Authorization Employee list filed on January 22, 2009 lists 8 employees, with vacancies in the positions of Detective Lieutenant and Dispatch Supervisor. The Town's supplemental filing on January 23, 2009 represents that the Police Commission has authorized the hiring of Cynthia Fowler as Dispatch Supervisor effective February 9, 2009.

On or before February 4, 2009 the parties shall file briefs addressing: 1) the status of the remaining vacant position; and 2) whether given the employee minimum number requirement of 10 imposed by RSA 273-A:8, I, and subject to ruling on the Town's other objections to the proposed unit, the PELRB can certify the proposed bargaining unit which currently contains less than 10 employees.
