PRE-HEARING MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

The parties appeared for a pre-hearing conference on January 16, 2009 and prior to commencement of the conference made a joint motion to continue the proceedings in this matter in order to allow the parties to continue their settlement discussions. The parties indicated that there is a strong possibility that they will be able to come to an agreement. The motion is granted. The currently scheduled hearing is cancelled. There will be no further proceedings in this matter for 60 days. This matter shall be dismissed after March 17, 2009 unless it has already been withdrawn or one of the parties files a request for a hearing before March 17, 2009, in which event another pre-hearing conference and date of hearing will be scheduled. The complaining party shall inform the PELRB of any settlement of the pending issues immediately.
