AMENDED CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE

A representation proceeding having been previously conducted by the Public Employee Labor Relations Board in accordance with RSA 273-A, and the Rules and Regulations of the Board, which resulted in the selection of an exclusive representative, and where a "Petition to change Affiliation" was filed and approved by the Board (see Decision No. 2005-057), then

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Board by the Public Employee Labor Relations Act, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that AFSCME, COUNCIL 93, LOCAL 3657, BROOKLINE POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION, is the exclusive representative of the employees of the above named public employer, in the unit as described below, for purposes of collective negotiations and settlement of grievances.

UNIT: The patrol officers and corporal employed by the Brookline Police Department.
EXCLUDED: Police Chief and Sergeant

Further, IT IS ORDERED that the above named public employer shall negotiate collectively with the exclusive representative named herein on terms and conditions of employment for the members of the bargaining unit, as herein described, and shall recognize the right of such exclusive representative to represent employees in the settlement of grievances.
