Mutual Aid Study

The Central New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission (CNHRPC) is soliciting proposals from potential consultants to complete an assessment of water system conveyance between existing interconnections and review water compatibility issues for a Mutual Aid Study.

The goal of this project is to address current and potential mutual aid issues among the water systems within the potential study area. Review of interconnection scenarios will allow the consultant to assess the feasibility of needed infrastructure improvements and proposed planning, design and construction.

The assessment will be funded by a NHDES Public Water System Emergency Interconnection Grant award in the maximum amount of $26,000. Applications for the RFP are should be submitted by 2:00 PM July 7, 2008. Project commencement can only begin after the consultant has been selected and NHDES approves the grant. The project is slated to begin upon approval of a grant contract by the NH Executive Council which is expected in August , 2008. Firms should provide, as part of their proposal, a project outline and timeline showing how they would approach and complete this project.

Engineering Consulting Services

The Community Development Department for the Town of Derry is seeking Requests for Proposals for professional engineering consulting services.  Firms are invited to submit proposals for engineering services related to the review of site plan and subdivision proposals within the Town of Derry in accordance with all applicable regulations, ordinances, procedures and RSAs.  A copy of the RFP is available at the Town of Derry Community Development Office, 2nd Floor, 14 Manning Street, Derry, New Hampshire, or at the Town of Derry Website – Planning web page at www.derry-nh.org.  Sealed proposals will be received until 4:00 p.m., on June 10, 2008.

IMPACT FEE ANALYSIS

FOR THE TOWN OF BOW

The Planning Board of the Town of Bow seeks to implement additional impact fee systems and maintain the systems currently in place.  Consultants are encouraged to review the 2004 Master Plan, the Zoning Ordinance and Impact Fee Ordinance, and Capital Improvements Plan prior to submitting a proposal.  The plans and reports are available for review on the Planning Board page of the Town website or at the Town offices,  Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Proposals due by June 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM
