Summary

Historic preservation ordinances became popular in the 1970's and 
1980's which introduced a new wave of planning from the local to
the state level.  A historic preservation plan can be adopted as
its own separate document but this Report recommends it be adopted
as part of the master plan (comprehensive plan).  If you are
interested in knowing what a preservation plan is or how to prepare
one, this report is for you!  You will also learn the elements of
a good preservation plan.

A copy of this report is available for review at the NH Office of State
Planning, 2 1/2 Beacon Street, Concord, NH during regular business
hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
