• Local Government Environmental Assistance Network (LGEAN) is a "first-stop shop" providing environmental management, planning, funding and regulatory information for local governments, elected and appointed officials, managers and staff.

  How many times have you thought to yourself, "Where can I find out the status of the underground storage tanks in my community?" Well, DES has the answer for you in their OneStop database! The Department of Environmental Services has this great database available on their website that can provide you with data related to information on alteration of terrain permits, underground storage tanks, groundwater discharge sites and much more. All the information is from DES programs and is basedon each program’s procedures and standards. However, due to national security requirements, OneStop limits access to certain public water supply information. Available information includes: sources of environmental interest; GIS data; environmental monitoring data; ordering sampling equipment for environmental testing; permit statuses; and information on local businesses that provide various environmental services, ranging from hazardous waste transportation to water well contractors.
