Chapter 112 (SB 234) adds the International Residential Code 2000 to the definition of "New Hampshire building code" in RSA Ch. 155-A. It makes no other changes to the statute. Thus, if a municipality enacts a process for enforcement of the state building code under RSA 674:51, that enforcement authority will include the residential code. It is unclear whether a municipality that previously adopted an enforcement process, without inclusion of the residential code, will now be automatically deemed to have adopted an enforcement process for the residential code.
