Request for Proposals – to come
New Hampshire's 234 towns and cities range in size and sophistication regarding how they manage energy in their buildings, transportation sector, school districts, and land use policies. This program will allow for the hiring of a subcontracting agency to work with communities throughout the state to help them to develop energy management strategies that are based on model best practices, and help them to avoid costly and ineffective energy measures. This work will take place in close coordination with the EECBG program as well as other relatively new sources of funding from NH's Renewable Portfolio Standard and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative funds.
OEP anticipates this program will be leveraged with funds from ARRA-EECBG, the Renewable Portfolio Standard, and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. All three programs are still in their formative stages and as such many details are still to be determined. This funding will be an important component to the Outreach and Technical Assistance portion of the ARRA-EECBG program, offering energy inventories for each town, developing community-specific road maps and action plans, and providing public forums.
To Be Awarded: $300,000 Overall Program Total: $340,803.28
