The State
Heating Oil and Propane Program (SHOPP) monitors residential
retail prices for heating oil and propane to determine
the average prices for these fuels in New Hampshire.
From October through March, SHOPP conducts weekly price
surveys. From April to September, price surveys are
conducted once a month. In addition, the state monitors
kerosene, electricity, natural gas, gasoline, and diesel
fuel prices on a monthly basis throughout the year.
The average prices are posted on the
Fuel Prices page and on the OEP homepage in the Fuel Prices box.
