As a result of changes to RSA 270:67 from Chapter 257, Laws of 2004, OEP no longer participates in the permitting process for public and congregate mooring fields.
The Division of Safety Services identifies suitable locations for public and congregate mooring fields, as well as their size and configuration, and adequate access. Mooring field proposals are transmitted to the respective political subdivision(s) where a public hearing is held. After reviewing all comments received, Safety Services submits a final site proposal to Governor and Council for approval. |
