2006 NH Floodplain Management Handbook

The Office of Energy and Planning is distributing the newest update of the "New Hampshire Floodplain Management Handbook" to communities in NH participating in the National Flood Insurance Program. This handbook replaces the last version, known as the New Hampshire Flood Insurance Handbook, which was updated in April 1994.

This handbook is a reference guide for communities that participate in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and other interested parties involved in floodplain management.  The handbook provides information about the NFIP including community responsibilities, floodplain regulations, floodplain mapping, and flood insurance.
