Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005

The Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005 offers federal tax credits and rebates for the purchase of renewable energy equipment, building energy efficiency improvements, energy-efficient vehicles and appliances. A summary of the major incentive provisions may be found on the Department of Energy.

Actual funding appropriations, specific incentive details and timetables are still being worked out by Congress and within federal agencies such as US Department of Energy.

Because the Energy Policy Act provisions are federal incentives, they are not administered by or through this state office.
