New OEP Web Site
May 8, 2004
The NH Office
of Energy and Planning is pleased to announce the
creation of a new website reflecting the merger of
the former Office of State Planning and the Governor’s
Office of Energy and Community Services. The
two agencies, both under the Governor’s Office, were
merged in 2003 as part of a state government reorganization
effort.
There is
a considerable amount of work yet to be done to migrate
all of the documents and information from the old
websites to the new one. Some
links will go back to the old sites so we ask for
your patience as we move forward to complete the project.
The new site was developed in cooperation with the
Office of
Information Technology.
OEP is responsible
for a wide variety of programs. This includes
the NH Coastal Program and NH Estuaries Project, Conservation
Lands Stewardship, Council on Resources and Development,
various energy conservation programs, State Heating
Oil and Propane Program, Fuel Assistance, NH Floodplain
Management, Municipal and Regional Planning Assistance,
Outdoor Recreation Planning Program, Refugee Program,
Scenic and Cultural Byways Program, State Data Center
and the Weatherization program.
MaryAnn
Manoogian is the Director of the office and Jack Ruderman
is Assistant Director. There are currently 22
employees at the Concord office (57 Regional Drive)
and 10 at the Coastal Program/Estuaries office in
Portsmouth (152 Court Street). |
