| Climate Change Policy Task Force
The Climate Change Policy Task Force is continuing to move forward with the development of the State's Climate Change Action Plan, which is due to the Governor in the fall. Currently, the six technical and policy working groups have begun to shift from identifying goals and actions for their sectors to the development of each action's policy and program description as well as the evaluation of the action's impacts.
An interim report describing the individual goals and actions has recently been submitted to the Task Force members, many of whom serve on the working groups. This report was created as part of the preparation for the next Task Force meeting, which will be held May 19 at Keene State College. The interim report is intended provide the Task Force members with the information necessary to continue their discussion regarding the focus and content of the final Action Plan.
More information concerning the Task Force, including a schedule of upcoming meetings and the notes and materials from past events can be found on the DES
Climate Change Policy Task Force website.
Questions or comments concerning the Climate Change Action Plan and its development process can be submitted to Chris Skoglund, NH DES. |
