OEP Welcomes New Staff - February 15, 2008

The New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning welcomes Meghan McPherson as our new Grants Manager filling the position formerly held by Mark Toussaint. Meghan is from Derry and a graduate of UNH and George Washington University. She comes to us from Washington, DC where she worked for James Lee Witt (head of FEMA during the Clinton Administration) and brings with her a lot of knowledge of the federal world, and as a lifelong resident of NH, familiarity with what is important about our state. We are thrilled to have her.

OEP is also pleased to announce the hiring of Tom Franks as our new Energy Policy Analyst.  Tom served the state of Vermont in a similar capacity for 6 years and has experience in small business, local government, and downtown revitalization. A wonk from way back, he is thrilled to be back in the field of energy in these exciting times.  He has just taken weekday digs in Concord, but still calls Brattleboro, VT home.
