The Office of Energy and Planning is accepting applications for the position of Director to administer all aspects of the Conservation Land Stewardship Program. We are seeking an individual with good communication and project management skills who will conduct workshops, monitor land use, collect and interpret GPS data and produce land use reports, among other tasks. A background in resource conservation and land management is preferable.

The Town of Fitzwilliam is accepting applications for the position of Land Use Assistant. This position provides professional administrative support, including note taking and research for the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment and Historic District Commission. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and a working knowledge of New Hampshire municipal land use planning, zoning administration and municipal budgeting. Applicants should also have experience using Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to create maps for the Town, and be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel. The Rockingham Planning Commission is seeking two part-time interns to assist with water resource, land use and transportation planning projects for communities in the southeastern New Hampshire region. The intern’s primary roles will be conducting fieldwork inventorying and data analysis for RPC's Regional Stream Crossing Assessment project. Other duties may include assisting with transportation planning efforts, local master plan updates, hazard mitigation plans, or similar activities. The Town of Salem is seeking candidates for the position of GIS/Planning Technician. The primary responsibilities of the GIS/Planning Technician are maintenance, development and administration of Salem's Geographic Information System (GIS). This includes but is not limited to maintaining and enhancing the system, planning for hardware and software budgetary needs, creating/organizing/updating feature layers, designing spatial databases, documenting GIS procedures, establishing GIS standards, producing map and/or report output, training end users on how GIS data and mapping can be used, and presenting the GIS to interested groups. Secondary responsibilities of the position include assisting with the delivery of Community Development and Planning services, with a focus on long range planning.
