The Town of Goffstown, NH (pop. 18,000) seeks qualified candidates for the position of Planning & Economic Development Director which provides professional and technical assistance to the public, Planning Board, Economic Development Council, Zoning Board, Capital Improvements Program Committee, Selectmen, and Master Plan Committee (when convened). Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of site plan review, land use regulations, business development and retention, growth management, and environmental/comprehensive planning. Excellent oral, written and organizational skills required. Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Community Development or related field required; Master's Degree and AICP preferred. Three years experience in planning, community or economic development required; five years preferred. Salary range $68,660 - $99,486; starting salary DOQ. Position is open until filled, first review of applications begins 7/21/17.
