Title: Permanent Part-time Library Page, Concord Public Library
Duties: Sorting and shelving library materials, assisting in opening and closing the library, emptying book bins, retrieving materials from storage, cleaning and restocking equipment, maintaining the orderly appearance of the library, and referring patrons to appropriate personnel for information. Performs work in the processing of books, periodicals, newspapers and other materials for public use. Also performs routine computer work in library databases, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. 20 hours per week average; may include day, evening and weekend hours. Exact schedule to be arranged. Benefits include annual and sick leave, short-term and long-term disability.

Title: Library Director, Hampstead Public Library
Duties: The Hampstead Public Library is currently seeking a dynamic innovative Library Director to manage the operations, services and resources of the Library.
Hampstead is a town of about 10,000 residents, located in the southern tier of New Hampshire towns close to the Massachusetts state line. It is about an hour from Boston, the seacoast and the mountains.
Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Library Board of Trustees, the Library Director is responsible for the operations of the Library and the development and implementation of its service program, including:
- Assisting the Board with long-range planning and policy development.
- Managing all library resources, including human resources.
- Organizing the acquisition, access, storage, and control of collections.
- Designing and implementing services and programs for users of all ages.
- Overseeing the maintenance and safety of the physical plant.
- Hiring and supervising all assistants, substitutes, and volunteers who work in the library

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: Completion of a Masters degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution plus at least three years of progressively responsible public library experience, including staff supervision, working directly with the public, and working with governing boards and bodies.

Salary: Starting Salary: $23.80 - $35.71/hr. Town of Hampstead covers 90% benefit cost. Exempt employee status. Hours: 40 per week, which may include 1 – 2 nights/week

Title: Library Assistant, Circulation, Part-Time, Rodgers Memorial Library, Hudson
Duties: Performs normal circulation duties/tasks 16-24 hours/wk including evenings and Saturdays. Circulates and re-shelves library materials, answers the phone, provides direct patron service, and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Some post secondary coursework required. BA/BS preferred. Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills required. Flexibility to assist in coverage of other shifts is highly desirable. Must be able to push or pull carts; do a moderate amount of bending, squatting, lifting (up to 40 lbs) , stretching, and standing for extended periods of time.

Title: Page/Library Assistant, Part-Time, North Hampton Public Library
Duties: The North Hampton Public Library is looking for a Page/Library Assistant. 4—10 hours per week. Must be 18 or older and available Mondays thru Saturdays during Library hours. Hours and days will vary and shifts may be from 2-8 hours. Duties may include but are not limited to shelving, materials processing, helping patrons, assisting the Children’s Librarian, and assisting at the circulation desk.
Qualifications: Skills needed include knowledge of Dewey Decimal System, ability to shelve and file accurately, good computer skills, simple clerical skills, and the ability to work well with customers and staff with tact and courtesy. Background in library science preferred. Physical requirements include bending, lifting, and reaching.

Title: Youth Services Librarian, Wilton Public and Gregg Free Library
Duties: Wilton Public and Gregg Free Library seeks an experienced youth services librarian to fill a 30 hour per week position. This position includes evenings until 7:00 pm and Saturdays 9:30 to 1:30.
