Title: Special Collections Education and Outreach Librarian, Dartmouth College, Hanover 

Duties: The Dartmouth College Library seeks an innovative teaching librarian to provide leadership in public services for the Rauner Special Collections Library. Reporting to the Head of Special Collections, the Special Collections Education & Outreach Librarian will oversee the reader services operations of the department, be an active member of the Special Collections teaching staff, build on an outreach program designed to heighten use of the collections.

Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent graduate degree; two years teaching experience with a demonstrated ability to teach effectively in an active learning environment; and two years previous work in a Special Collections or research library setting. Advanced graduate work in another subject area is highly desirable. A strong commitment to responsive user service, the ability to prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines.

Title: Library Technical Assistant I, Geisel Library, Saint Anselm College, Manchester

Duties: Part-time evening Library Assistant needed for the Geisel Library for approximately 19 hours per week during the academic year. Will cover and supervise the Circulation and Periodicals Desk functions; includes checking out materials, maintaining patron records, stack maintenance, supervising student workers, assisting patrons with copiers and printers, and closing the library for the night. This position includes evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications:  Requirements include an Associate degree plus 1-2 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidate will have good office and computer skills, supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Flexibility to assist in occasional coverage of other shifts is desirable, as is library circulation experience.
