The theme of the 2007 N.H. Summer Reading was
Reading Road Trip: USA. Libraries around the state
celebrated transportation, travel and the United States by
offering an array of programs and activities. One program
invited children and their families to visit other libraries in
the state, where they received a sticker or a stamp on a
map provided by their home library. More than 85 libraries
participated in this statewide activity. Each year, over
15,000 children participate in the N.H. Summer Reading
Program, which is developed by the Children's Librarians
of New Hampshire (CHILIS), a section of the New
Hampshire Library Association. |
