WORLD WAR II POSTERS COLLECTION

It is always nice to receive a request like this because it means our WW II Poster collection is still being viewed and used long after the exhibit closed in 2002.
"The Heights-Hillcrest-Lyndhurst Branch, American Association of University Women, is preparing a study guide to help the students in the Cleveland Public Schools and throughout the State of Ohio pass the Social Studies portion of the Ohio Graduation Test. One of the sections of the test is Social Studies Kills and Methods and an aspect of that section is to explain propaganda and its use.
"In researching the subject to find an appropriate graphic to illustrate World War II propaganda, I found the one in your collection called "This Is The Enemy" that depicts a hand thrusting a knife through the Bible. It is listed as being by Barbara Marks and is Office of War Information poster No. 76 www.nh.gov/ww2/images/ww35.jpg.
"We would like your permission to reproduce this in our study guide. What steps do we need to go through in order to get this permission?
"Please let me know if it will be OK for us to use the picture and, if so, how you would like us to cite it. If it is not OK for us to use it, please let me know that as well.
"Thank you for your prompt consideration of our request."
