The first ever combined meeting of Northern/Southern Regional Conference of Librarians Serving Blind and Physically Handicapped individuals was held May 6-9, 2007 in Baltimore, MD.

Over the three days of the conference, participants heard the latest digital updates from the Library of Congress, National Library Services.

Attendees also learned from a variety of speakers of new services and programs to expand opportunities and choices for patrons. John Barrett of the N.H. State Library's Talking Book Services was elected Chair of the Northern Conference.
