CONSERVATION LICENSE PLATE GRANTS AWARDED

In this year's Moose License Plate grant program the State Library received 13 proposals from towns, libraries, historical societies and other non-profit organizations totaling $101,699. Grants were awarded to:

City of Claremont, $10,000 - Cemetery Archive Preservation

Town of Farmington, $8,531 - Town Records Preservation

Town of Gilford, $9,280 - Preserving Gilford's History

Town of Hancock, $9,707 - Hancock Record Preservation

Town of Madison, $6,856 - Archival Vault Project

Town of Newport, $2,900 - 1800's Town Records
