TECHNOLOGY SERVICES COORDINATOR HIRED

The N.H. State Library has hired a Technology Services Coordinator to work with public libraries on library related technology issues. This is a new position at the State Library that was created as a result of the increasing demand by public libraries across the State for technology assistance.

Bobbi Slossar, a reference librarian at the State Library, has been hired to fill the position. She will be working with libraries to assist technology needs, assist with technology planning and implement programs designed to improve library service through the use of technology. In addition, she will be teaching public access, computing workshops dealing with the impact of new technologies on public libraries.

She joined the Electronic Information Resources Section of the State Library on March 31, 2006.
