Ann Warren, Supervisor of the Nashua Public Library's Music, Art, and Media Department from 1982 to 2001, passed away in March 2005 after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. In addition to spurring the growth of the library's collection of works by local artists, Ann oversaw the expansion of her department in the mid-1990s into its current west-wing location. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451. Library staff and patrons mourn her loss.
